Assemblymember Mark González's Statement After Trump Kicked Noem to the Curb

For immediate release:

SACRAMENTO, CA — Today, Assemblymember Mark González has issued the following statement after Donald Trump finally kicked Noem to the curb:

"It's hard to see the exit of Kristi Noem from the Department of Homeland Security as anything but long overdue.

Her tenure was defined by cruelty, chaos, and political theater that traumatized communities. Too many immigrant families paid the price for her agenda.

The American people deserve real leadership that protects our security without abandoning humanity."
